HAPPY ANNIVERSARY !!!!!

I would like to give a shout out to mother-- daughter team--- Tina and Andrea. They are celebrating their 1 year anniversary at Weight Watchers and apparently doing it in style. Together they participated in the Mt. Albert 5 km walk, both now Lifetime Members -- at goal !!!  Between them, they have lost almost 70 lbs.

                 Yaaahoooo !!! Congratulations Ladies.... you are an inspiration to us all !

SUMMER IS HERE...!!!!!!!! WHAT'S HAPPENING ?????

Well I'm glad you asked......  we are still going strong with our Sunday morning walks, and congrats to all of you who commit to showing up each week. We have been meeting at various parts of the trail  for 12 weeks now ...!!! And we have only missed 1 week due to a downpour of rain. I know summer is busy, but please try to dedicate a little time to some activity and I hope you will join us this coming Sunday once again. --8:30 -The Tannery on Davis Dr. We have been seeing many interesting things along our Tom Taylor Trail Walk...so here are some more photos I would like to share. Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal " Pancakes "

Many of you have enjoyed the Weight Watcher Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal, as is, for breakfast ....
Great on a cold morning,right ???  So now with the warmer weather, how can we switch it up and still enjoy this filling Power Food ??  I'm glad you asked....

1 - package Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal
1/4 cup egg white
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix and griddle it up !!!   Makes 2 medium pancakes for a total of 4 pointsplus values .

Because the Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal is already sweet enough, you don't need Maple Syrup...honest I mean it. However, I did warm up some mushed up rasberries to put on top of mine.

Welcome to the Tom Taylor Trail Challenge !!!

We have just completed our 10th week of our training for our 20 km walk. To all of you who have showed up bright and early on Sunday mornings to walk with me, I thank you. Because of all your support I have lost 6 lbs in these past few weeks, and it feels great !!  It has been fun to get to know some of you a little bit better, while we enjoy a pleasant walk through the different parts of the trail.
